First of all, it is important to mention that all the data collected is the client's property and can be delivered annually in the form that the client requires or once the contract is completed. In order to provide you with use of our Products, we may gather and process some or all of the following information:
Product Generated Data: When you use some Products, or equipment which is connected to our Products, our servers automatically record information that the Product sends. These server logs may include information such as your use of Product (“sensor”) (or the machines with interface with a Product), Internet Protocol address, other addressing information, the date and time of your use and an authentication token used to validate the identity of you and your device. In general, Product Generated Data does not include specific information provided by an individual, but only reflects the use by an individual operator of a piece of equipment relating to the operation of that equipment.
Our primary purpose in collecting information is to translate data into insights and actions for manufactures, and provide you with an efficient user experience. We may use the information defined in this Privacy Policy to: provide the Product and any customer support you request; resolve disputes, collect fees, and troubleshoot problems; enforce our contractual agreements; customize, measure and improve our Products; inform you about updates; compare information accuracy, and verify your identity; provide other services for you as described when we collect the information. In addition, although initially we are not initially doing so, if we choose to provide you with promotional offers or advertising, we may use your information in order to provide you with such items. When you enter sensitive information (such as e-mail) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). MonitorApp® takes reasonable security measures to protect your personal information to prevent loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware, however, that despite our efforts, no security measures are impenetrable. If you use a password on our Site, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. Do not share it with any other person. If you believe your password has been misused, please advise us immediately.
You may “opt-out” of receiving promotional emails from MonitorApp® by following the instructions in those emails. You may also send requests relating to promotional messages and your permission of sharing information with third parties for their marketing purpose by emailing contact@monitorapp.io Opt-out request will not apply to transnacional services messages, including messages about your current MonitorApp® account and services.
If your personal information changes, we invite you to correct or update your information as soon as possible. You can request changes or access to your information by emailing contact@monitorapp.io. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account, request that we no longer use your information to provide you services or delete your personal information, contact us at contact@monitorapp.io. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Our Site includes links to other Web sites whose privacy practices may differ from those of MonitorApp® . If you submit personal information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy statements. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy statement of any Web site you visit.
If you choose to use our referral service to forward one of our news tellers to a friend, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically forward your friend the email as requested by you. MonitorApp® stores information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and your friend’s email address will only be used to forward this email to them, and will never be available to anyone else. If you wish to request that your personal information no longer be used to receive these emails you may opt out of receiving these emails by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.
We post customer testimonials and performance graphs on our web site which may contain personally identifiable information. We do obtain the customer’s consent via email prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial. If you wish to request that your testimonial be removed you may do so by emailing us at contact@monitorapp.io.
